Twyford Lyon battled bravely to a 2 ÂÂÂ 0 win at home to a strong Holway side to maintain their hundred per cent record and stay top of their league. It was a spirited performance in which Jack Zilch and Alex Wright excelled at the heart of the defence. Nick Merriam finished well to put them one up at half time and although it looked like Holway were going to get something from the game, a late Toby Hogan goal dashed their hopes late in the second half. There were strong performances from Tom Lazarus, Dan Reed, Dan Verrier, Matt Watts and Aaron Fairbrother whilst Ricky Morrey Jones in goal kept another clean sheet.
