Twyford Under 15s A entertained Bridgwater VPR and fell behind after some early indecision and then equalized through a Callum Old 25 yd free kick. Liam Hill then produced some excellent saves to keep Twyford in the game before Aiden Moyle toe poked a Callum Old flick on into the visitors net for Twyford to lead 2-1 at half time. The strong physical Bridgwater team tried to force their way back into the game but the back four of Dulton Burton, Belah Miah, Lewis Scarff and Dean Folland stood firm. The hardworking Jake Leach, Mark Sampson and Owen Howe combined to provide Callum Old the chance to firm home from 30yds which he took. Ben Thomas came on and his pace together with Owen HoweÂÂs pace troubled the visitors defence on the break but with 10 minutes to go Bridgwater scored a headed goal and then laid siege to the Twyford goal but some resolute and at times desperate defence gave Twyford the 3-2 victory. Ed Frankland and Kit Adams provided the hard work which with their colleagues allowed this excellent win over hard opponents.
