Twyford Under 16s travelled to Wellington for their first game of the season and were dominant for a large proportion of the game scoring 2 goals before half time coming from Chris Tolly and a 30 yard screamer from Lee Dixon. Twyford came out in the second half and started where they left off and making their possession count by adding to their goal tally with a goal from Chris Tolly. Twyford then sat off and thought the game was won and didnÂÂÂ’t think they had to play anymore which allowed Wellington to get back into the game by scoring two goals. Twyford then battled to the end of the game and picked up maximum points and got there season off to a good start but still can play better however it was the first league game and they picked up three points which was the intention. The team as a collective played well together with Jay Leman, Michael Sandiford, Dean Matthews, Lee Dixon, Chris Tolly and Owen Newsome shone.
