Twyford had Langport as their guests this week in their second game of the season. With a dull first half with no team really taking control of the game Twyford came out in the second half after a strong team talk at half time and started making an attacking threat. TwyfordÂÂÂs attacking threat was made successful when Brendon Sellens struck from 25 yards to give Twyford the lead. Twyford got their second goal when Twyford's front line of Ricky Lait and Michael Sandiford combined with some good football Ricky to slot home comfortably. With ten minutes to go Langport found themselves back in the game when they made the score line 2-1, which gave them momentum for the final minutes, however Twyford managed to hold on with the loss of Cameron Xavier after a nasty collision with a Langport striker. There were certain players who stood out with one being man of the match Brendan Sellens, also Daniel Copp, Michael Sandiford, Ryan Hart, Cameron Xavier gave solid performances. Again this Twyford team was victorious but there is still more to come from the side.
