Twyford Under 16s entertained a strong and determined Hamilton side wanting the win to stand a chance of winning second place and got their noses in front 20 minutes in with it being a very exciting game to watch. However Twyford got themselves back in it through a good finish from Michael Sandiford giving Twyford the lift to start playing better football and creating chances with them hitting the crossbar twice and the post from some long range efforts. This continued till the half time break where Twyford were given a up lifting talk which went through to the second half with Twyford playing some good football and the game being very exciting for the neutral and the all spectators and it only livened up when James Douglas put Twyford in front for the first time with a good back post header. The game continued in the exciting fashion and was Hamiltons hopes of second place were restored when they equalised late on, however it was demolished late on when some good individual play by Michael Sandiford and a good finish by him as well Twyfords lead was regained and shortly after the final whistle going and Twyford having claimed second place. We were over the moon with this game with everyone playing well throughout the team and all getting the man of the match reward.
