Match Report - Twyford Spartans - G U12's 2008/9

Twyford Under 12 girls came up against League contenders Exmouth Amateurs and in a excellent display of football by both teams. Twyford played some good football passing the ball around and creating some good chances. Players of the Match Alice Butler and Chloe Hawkins stepped into the defensive role and both looked as if they had played together for years, the worked hard together and gave Exmouth very little chance to score. Exmouth did get one chance on goal towards the end of the first half and scored a good goal from Anna Holmes. Twyford started the second half as they had the first and came out with good attacking football. Amy Sanders and Katie Adcock were outstanding in midfield with Hollie Seatherton running at their defence for the whole game. Due to a slight mix up in front of goal which resulted in Exmouth getting a second making the final score 2-0. Robyn Freed, Fern Bernhardt and goalkeeper Keeley Seatherton added to this excellent display of football.
