DATE TYPE FIXTURE GOAL SCORERS
23.11.2008 L Twyford Spartans 1 5 Ashmoor Ladies Chloe Hawkins (1)

The Twyford Under 12 girls were proud to wear their new kit which is sponsored by the Football Foundation. This was definitely one of those games of two halves. In the first half the girls took a while to get going and despite some outstanding goalkeeping were 5 - 0 down at half time. In the second half the girls came out of the blocks and made it an entirely different game with Keeley Seatherton making 11 saves to keep the score down. The defence of Chloe Hawkins and Alice Butler again shone and showed what a good partnership this can be. Twyford had many attempts on goal but were unable to get passed the Ashmoor keeper. Towards the end of the second half the girls finally got what they deserved a goal from Chloe Hawkins to make the final score 5-1 to Ashmoor. Hollie Seatherton and Amy Sanders never stopped running up front and the midfield of Katie Adcock, Laura Huxtable and Honour James gave their all throughout the game. Proving she is back to her old form was Robyn Freed who was strong and decisive throughout. The second half proved that this group of girls are as good as the rest of the teams in this league. We will put this to the test next week when we play Plainmoor in the first round of the cup.
