Twyford Under 12 girls travelled to Torquay in the bright sunshine to play Plainmoor Pinks. Twyford started well with Hollie Seatherton opening the scoring. Just before half time the Plainmoor team scored to make it 1-1. Twyford came out in the second half and were unlucky to go 2-1 down when Alice Butler took a long throw only for the Plainmoor keeper to knock the ball into the back of her own net. This gave Twyford the momentum to push on and again Hollie scored to give Twyford a 3-2 lead. As the second half went on Plainmoor became more dominant on the break and went on to score two more goals to make the final score 5-3 to the home team. Keeley Seatherton was outstanding in goal pulling off some excellent saves earning her the Player of the game award. Also playing well were Amy Sanders, Fern Bernhardt, Chloe Hawkins and Laura Huxtable.
